This workshop is designed for a small group of dancers, wishing to revise/consolidate the basics, and push their capabilities, enabling virtual one to one tuition in an un intimidating environment.

21st to 25th May 2009 ...IMPORTANT - EXCITING EVENT!!!... New York City, USA A once in a generation event. Lindy hop legend, Frankie Manning, will be turning 95 years old in May and to celebrate there is going to be the biggest and most spectacular swing dance event possibly ever held in New York City, USA. Leeds Lindy Exchange 2009 - First Ever!! - SADLY NOW CANCELLED
29th to 31st May 2009 Central Leeds Lindy Exhanges are social events without classes but lots of time to meet new friends, catch up with old ones and hit the dance floor at every opportunity. This is the first ever to happen in Leeds. More details to follow soon... 3rd July to 7th August 2010 Herrang nr(ish) Stockholm, Sweden This amazing camp runs for a whole month each year and is a truly intensive dance experience. Classes at all levels for Lindy, Balboa, Tap, Jazz and usually another speciality are available on different weeks and there are usually some classes for absolute beginners running over the weekends. Most dancers go for just one of the weeks that suit them best though some die hard dancers will be there as long as their legs will keep them upright. Check out their website to find out more. This camp is a mecca for swing dancers and I can't recommend it highly enough for those of you really dedicated to getting the most out of your dancing. Though be warned; it's a chaotic, manic, hectic though extremely fun camp and I'd recommend sorting out private accomodation for those of you who prefer a few home comforts admist the chaos.
