Now, there's more to Swing than just going to your classes (excellent though they are).  There are now several regular live jazz bands playing around Nottingham these days and plenty of organised swing socials and ad hoc special events happening in and around our neck of the woods.  So, what are you waiting for?  Have a look below and get out there...

Regular live jazz in Nottingham...
 
  • Cafe.Bar.Live at The Nottingham Contemporary (Lace Market Tram Stop)
    • Saturday nights - different bands each week but often with a swing or blues element to their music.  8pm - Free Entrance - Outside terrace
  • The Lion Inn, New Basford (Shipstone Street Tram Stop) 
    • Sunday lunch time jazz every week
  • The Hand & Heart, 65-67 Derby Road, Nottingham, NG1 5BA
    • Live music from 8.30pm every Tuesday and Thursday night
  • The Bell Inn, 18 Angel Row, Old Market Square, Nottingham 
    • Sunday afternoons: 12.45pm till 3.15pm - The Footwarmers
    • Monday evenings: 8.30pm till 10.30pm - alternating between The Omega Band and The Johnny Johnson Quartet
    • Tuesday evenings: 8.30pm till 10.30pm - Blues with Natalie
