In the 1930's and 40's the Charleston of the 1920's was absorbed into the new Lindy hop craze and is still an intergral part of the dance.  Often referred to as 40's Charleston it is much more relaxed in style to the 1920's original.  We teach this 40's style as an integral part of our classes, but also run occassional classes in the 20's style which is popular with swing dancers and fits well to the music of the era.
